Breeden - West Russell Area Drainage Improvements
Breeden - West Russell Area Drainage Improvements
The Breeden - West Russell Area Drainage Improvements project included two phases.
Phase 1 included an underground drainage system to alleviate flooding issues associated with the lack of a drainage system. The new underground drainage system tied into an existing drainage system on W. Ashby Place. Phase 1 was split into two phases: Phase 1A was on N. Flores from W. Ashby Place to W. Russell Place and Phase 1B was on W. Russell Place from N. Flores to Breeden Ave.
Phase 2 tied into the main drainage pipeline from Phase 1 and included the construction of storm sewer culverts and curb inlets along Breeden and side street intersections to capture the 25-year runoff.
