WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
This workshop is intended to create a space to explore your relationship with your hands and the wonderful material; clay, while drawing inspiration from the current exhibition's artwork.
- This is a handbuilding class for ALL levels - no experience required. And yes, you are creative enough to participate.
- To promote relationship-building with self and to minimize distractions while maximizing creative capacity, the only tools we will use in class are our hands (or basic tools when necessary).
- This class will be instructed, but loosely, to allow individual creative expression; this space is where guidance and freedom meet.
- Pieces made in the session will not be glazed (not food-safe), but they will be precious.
- Pieces made in the session will be fired and ready for pick-up within 4 weeks of the workshop.
